Feel at Home in The Hague - The International Community Fair 2011 is organised by TheHagueOnLine, a news service website for internationals in The Hague region with news and views about the city and its surroundings, including reviews and regular listings of cultural and leisure event.

the fair is designed to be an information portal for international and expats in The Hague Region. The fair annually provides visitors with both cultural and practical information on how to make the most of their time in The Hague region.

Representatives from more that 170 organisations offered information to the international and expatriate community. The fair provided the opportunity to meet people from a selection of over 50 sports, social and community groups, helping you discover all there is to do in your free time.

Alongside the sports and social groups, stood the information islands, Activities & Wellness, Business Services, Housing, Small Businesses, The Hague Region and Careers & Education, which will proved interesting to information-hungry passers by. A wide range of sectors were represented from financial services to beauty salons.

The fair also featured a cultural exhibition letting you soak up the city's cultural offerings with information from 22 different cultural organisations.

The food court let you sample food from local restaurants, to really give you a taste for The Hague and the performance podium was alive with a jam packed entertainment schedule including live music, Irish dancing, poetry and much more. The podium allowed visitors to see a selection of The Hague's international talent and allowed performers and groups to showcase their work.

There was also an opportunity for visitors to take part in sculpting classes, golf lessons or have a massage. The kids also had fun and got creative at the Kid's Activity Area with Chinese art workshops.

Visitors to the fair ranged from those who had arrived a few weeks ago to those who've been settled in The Hague for years. We saw students, professionals and families all take advantage of the wealth of information the fair provided.
